用户须知（General Info for Users）
1. 物质学院电镜平台为开放性平台，校内用户可申请仪器培训，通过独立测试方式使用常规仪器，校内和校外用户均可通过送样委托测试方式使用所有仪器。校外用户的送样委托测试需获得专家委员会批准，且其占用的仪器机时数不得超过仪器总机时数的15%。
EM center is an open platform, and users from both the university and other institutes are welcome to send in their samples for tests. The tests from users of other institutes must be approved by the EM Committee at CℏEM. The maximum machine time for external users should not exceed 15% of the total machine time.

3. 电镜平台高端仪器（球差电镜，俄歇扫描电镜，场发射透射电镜等）暂不开放培训，仅接受送样委托测试，校内和校外用户均需通过申请和评审程序，详见附录1。
For all tests carried on advanced instrument, users need to apply and get approved according to the procedure described in Appendix I.
4. 电镜平台常规仪器，校内用户只有经培训考核并获得授权后方可独立操作使用。严禁未经授权或私自培训他人使用仪器。培训规则详见附录2.
For tests carried on ordinary instrument, users can only operate independently after receive training from EM staff. Normal users are not authorized to train fellow group members. Rules of training and authorization details are described in Appendix II.
5. 凡使用本室仪器取得的研究成果（论文、专利和奖励），应在相应的材料或致谢中予以说明(This work is partially supported by Centre for High-resolution Electron Microscopy (CℏEM), SPST, ShanghaiTech University under contract No. EM02161943.)，并交本室备份。

6. 使用仪器时，必须严格遵守仪器设备的管理和操作规程，确认仪器处于正常状态，做好使用记录。如有疑问和发现异常，不可擅自处理，必须立即向仪器负责人或值班人员报告。严禁擅自更改仪器设备的各项设置参数，不得私自拆卸、改装仪器设备。
When using EMs, users must follow operation rules strictly and always check instrument status closely. In case of any disorder, inform the EM staff immediately. Modification or changes made to the instrument are not allowed without the agreement from instrument manager.
7. 未经允许不得擅自带走实验室任何公用工具。如需借用，须提前告知仪器负责老师。
Taking out tools from EM labs without agreement from EM staff is forbidden.
8. 实验室内禁止吸烟、喧哗、以及从事其他与仪器操作无关的事项。严禁将食品、饮料带入仪器室。注意保持实验室整洁。非紧急情况，禁止使用手机。
No smoking, no electronic medium, no eating and drinking in EM labs. No cell phones except for emergency purpose.
9. 不得将带有磁性、毒性和放射性等危害人身及仪器安全的样品或物质带入实验室。
No hazardous chemicals and magnetic samples are allowed at CℏEM. If in doubt about using any equipment or chemical please ask the EM staff. Any mistake on your part could put you and others at great risk.

11. 如用户违反使用规则，将受到包括警告、限制使用、取消权限在内惩罚措施，详见附录3。此外，若因用户违反规程而造成仪器设备故障或损坏, 相关维修费及维修期间的机时损失由相应课题组承担。
If users violate the rules, they will receive penalty including warning，restriction on usage and cancelation of access. Penalties of each instrument are as in Appendix III. If the violation causes any damage of instrument, the users and the corresponding PIs will afford the necessary fees paid for repair and the cost of instrument breakdown.
12. 仪器使用收费按上海科技大学实验室与设备管理部统一收费标准执行，用户在完成实验后，应及时结算费用。收费细则详见附录4
